The Traser family is growing once again. With a vision to support rising talent, the Swiss watch brand—renowned for its tritium-filled Trigalight tubes ensuring optimal legibility—has turned its attention to the traditional and highly disciplined world of fencing. Its newest partnership brings on board three promising Czech foil fencers: Max Kavecký, Kryštof Novák, and Eliáš Vyskočil.
As part of their new roles as Friends of the Brand, Czech national team members Eliáš Vyskočil and Max Kavecký—both participants in multiple European and World Championships in the cadet category and medalists at national events—will proudly represent the Traser name.
The duo even claimed silver together at the Cadet European Team Cup. Joining them is the youngest of the trio, Kryštof Novák, already boasting over ten national wins and a solid presence on the international circuit, including tournaments in Görlitz, Germany. His most notable achievements include representing the Czech Republic at this year’s Cadet European and World Championships, winning the national title in the U14 category, topping the national rankings for his age group, and placing second among U17 cadets.

All three athletes have chosen to wear the Traser P67 Diver T100 Blue, a robust diving watch featuring a solid stainless steel case, unidirectional ceramic bezel, and of course, Trigalight system for ultimate visibility.
Traser’s reputation for rugged reliability makes these watches a go-to not only for elite military units and divers but also for fans of outdoor adventure. With a helium valve and water resistance rated up to 500 meters, the P67 Diver stands up to every challenge—sporting or otherwise.

“We believe that supporting sports isn’t solely the responsibility of the state. The private sector has a crucial role to play, too. Sport is essential to society; it shapes individuals and helps them build lifelong values. That’s why we established NEXT TOUCHÉ, an organization devoted to supporting fencing and the people around it. And this is exactly the kind of active, engaged spirit we share with Traser,” says Jan Vyskočil, director and founder of NEXT TOUCHÉ, proud partner of Czech fencing.

All three fencers currently train at the Olympic Foil Centre under the guidance of Josef Prokeš and world-class Italian coach Giovanni Bortolaso. The project to bring Bortolaso to Prague began in early 2024, thanks to a collaboration between him, Czech Fencing Federation President Oldřich Kubišta, and Alexander Choupenitch, Olympic bronze medalist from Tokyo and the most successful Czech foilist to date.
