Sinn 613 St UTC Received the Red Dot Award 2026

German watchmaker Sinn Spezialuhren has added another major international accolade to its portfolio. The Sinn 613 St UTC has received the prestigious Red Dot Award 2026 in the Product Design category — an honor reserved for products distinguished by exceptional design quality, functionality, and technical execution.

And the recognition comes as no surprise. The Sinn 613 St UTC does not feel like a conventional sports chronograph, but rather a professional-grade instrument engineered for extreme environments. Its robust construction combines a diver’s watch, chronograph, and GMT complication into one remarkably clean and highly functional package.

At the center of the dial is a prominent 60-minute counter positioned at six o’clock, allowing for intuitive underwater timing. Combined with the diver’s bezel, it creates a system designed for maximum legibility even in high-pressure situations. The model’s technical credentials are further reinforced by Sinn’s Ar-Dehumidifying Technology, which prevents fogging inside the case, and magnetic field protection up to 100 mT, safeguarding the movement’s precision even in demanding environments.

The chronograph is based on a construction inspired by Sinn’s proprietary SZ02 caliber architecture and is complemented by a UTC second time zone — a practical feature for professionals operating across multiple regions. In addition, the brand’s D3 push-button system significantly enhances resistance against dust and moisture.

Its water resistance to 500 meters, independently certified, clearly demonstrates that Sinn did not pursue superficial design effects here, but genuine functionality. And that is precisely where the strength of the Sinn 613 St UTC lies — the award-winning design is never decorative for its own sake.
